Do I need a developer, or to change my store?

Do I still need the Meta Pixel?

Is this the Facebook Conversions API?
Yes. The Conversions API (CAPI) is Meta's name for what was called the Facebook Conversions API: your store's visits and sales reach Meta from a server, not only from the shopper's browser. Will Meta count my sales twice?
Not because of PixlBridge: it sends each sale once. If another app also sends your purchases with its own IDs (most often Meta's own Facebook & Instagram app at its Maximum data-sharing setting), Meta can count them twice. Is my customers' information safe?
Yes. Customer details such as email and phone are SHA-256 hashed (scrambled one way) before they're stored or sent to Meta. Your Facebook, Amazon and Shopify logins are kept encrypted, each business only ever sees its own data, and the tracking on your store follows your store's cookie-consent settings.
